- We adopted Kawela from the Hawaiian Humane Society in 2000. We're not sure what she is, but know that she's part chow (spotted tongue) and ridgeback. She's a daily delight and we're so lucky to have her as part of our family.

I hope that the cover picture for Jan/Fed does not give a message that it is ok for animals to ride in the back of pick-up trucks!

Beagle Group of Hawaii said… - Oh no! The rain did start a sudden downpour while we were all there, so we just moved the party to the tennis court area directly behind the fenced section of the dog park. We were really lucky that the tennis court area was completely covered so the beagles were able to stay dry and have fun. We are sorry to have missed you at the Howliday Party! We'll keep you posted on future events. And we saw your membership with our group's website, so that will most def keep you in the loop. Have a good Christmas and Happy Howlidays!!
